On Friday, March 29th we're hosting the crew from acclaimed St. Louis restaurant Vicia at Butcher & Bee for one night only.
Founded in 2017 by owners Michael and Tara Gallina, Vicia celebrates vegetable-forward cuisine, preparing beloved and underutilized vegetables with as much love and attention to detail as proteins. Their menu is driven by the best of what's available at the moment and sourced from farmers, fisherman and artisans in the Midwest region and beyond. Vicia has been named a 2018 James Beard Award semifinalist, one of the 12 Best New Restaurants in America by Eater, a Bon Appetit Top 50 New Restaurant and a Best New Restaurant in America by Esquire. In 2018 chef Michael was recognized as a Food & Wine Magazine Best New Chef.
The veggie-loving Vicia and B&B teams are putting together a collaborative menu featuring Vicia favorites and vegetable-forward collaborative dishes - all ideal for sharing and served family style. Reservations are encouraged and can be made via Resy or over the phone, or walk-in any time between 5pm and 11pm. Dinner will be served a la carte.
