On Wednesday, November 7th we're hosting a very special dinner at Butcher & Bee with acclaimed cookbook author Anissa Helou.
B&B chef Michael Zentner will be joined by Helou and highlighting recipes from her latest book Feast: Food of the Islamic World. The London-based author, teacher, and chef is a leading expert in the cuisines of the Mediterranean, Middle East and North Africa, with several notable books under her belt. Guests will enjoy a welcome drink and multi-course family style meal, and will receive a special gift from Le Creuset. Helou's book will be available at Butcher & Bee for purchase.
We'll be using seasonal southern produce to highlight Middle Eastern cuisines of Morocco, Lebanon, Iraq and more. The meal will be served family style, starting with a mezze spread served with house-made flatbreads and pita, seasonal Middle Eastern salads, main courses with vegetable accompaniments and dessert from B&B Bakery.
